Prior to 2015, there were no comprehensive brand guidelines at NYC & Company, which are essential to unify the messaging and visuals across an organization. We rebuilt the entire organization from its business cards to its 9,000+ page website including brand voice, visual guidelines, and templates. New elements of the brand overhaul include two custom typefaces, more than 250 custom icons and a custom color palette, all inspired by New York City’s vibrancy, energy, diversity, and legacy. Since the brand launch, the city has earned a number of accolades from publications such as the Creative Review, It's Nice That, and Co.Design.
