Heem- AR furniture app

A personal project.

Heem is a new app for interior design and they have partnerships with many top 10 furniture stores in the U.S. Heem is currently scanning all the catalog items featured by these stores, as well as setting up processes to keep their catalogs updated.

As with every new technology, we need to find the right usage for it and bring it to customers by solving a problem that they encounter or by providing additional value to their current goals. Heem aims to do just that. There are, of course, other augmented reality apps in the market and Heem is not the first at developing an AR furniture app. However, they aim to do it better, and more prominent.

THE CHALLENGE

Design an app that allows users to view a catalog of furniture and place it in their home via AR.
