Taking Form

A periodical publication focused on the discussion of design education. The first issue "Obstacles" features original interviews with Ramon Tejada [RISD], Kali Nikitas [OTIS], John Caserta [RISD], Laura Gordon [RCA], Paul Soulellis [RISD], and Erik Brandt [MCAD]. The first issue of Taking Form discusses obstacles in design education such as the high cost of a degree, but also the formal obstacles, or limitations used to define a design problem. The editorial process and design of this publication was done in collaboration with Kurt Austin.
