Paul Spencer and I were hired by McCann Healthcare to create the next spot for OPDIVO, the immunotherapy cancer drug from Bristol Myers Squibb. JWT had created the first two spots, with the theme line, "A chance to live longer." It's a powerful message, and our solution was to push it further by dramatizing how the small moments - an embrace, a kiss, a reunion - are actually huge when you have the chance to live longer.
