Creative Lebanon is part of a bigger project coordinated by UNIDO (United Nations Development Organization), Creative Mediterranean. It is an extensive cooperation project that involves seven countries, from Atlantic to Middle East: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan. Each nation has been evaluated based on its singularity, highlighting the wide range of creative realities in specific areas in the international market - from ‘Europe to the Gulf countries’.
This project emphasizes the role, behind every single craftsman or artist, of complex realities made of families and communities and their stories.
A team of local and foreigner designers launched a new creative hub in Beirut, including fashion brands and olive oil cooperatives. I was in charge of the design of a special packaging for three of those: Batroun, Chadra and Hermel.
The three projects are focused on the main targets such as local market, foreigner market and top quality. It adapts the brand sophistication in different graphics, materials and technology.
The hub opening generated a great buzz on several foreigner media.
