Posters

All posters: art direction, design, lettering, illustration are all mine. My posters have been featured in 15+ coffee table books, and are in museums in the US and Germany. The nurse poster I created for Sonic Youth’s show at Cat’s Cradle in 2004 has been featured in over a dozen books and magazines, a German calendar, and was re-worked into a vinyl toy. In 2008 it was added to the permanent Southern Folklife Collection at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It made a cameo appearance in 2018’s Velvet Underground Experience exhibition in NYC, and in 2019 a print was acquired by Poster House in New York City, the first museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to posters. The nurse and several other posters I designed for the band were also exhibited at LiFE in St. Nazaire, France; Museion in Bolzano, Italy; Kunsthalle/KIT in Düsseldorf, Germany; the Konsthall in Malmö, Sweden; and CA2M in Madrid, Spain, with the exhibition Sonic Youth: Sensational Fix from 2008 to 2011.
