#R29Collabs is Refinery29’s Instagram-first creative collaborations where we work with designers, illustrators, photographers, and other artists from around the world to create unique social content that educates, empowers, and inspires our readers. #SexualAssaultAwarenessMonth takes place in April and Refinery29 worked with the talented illustrator Celia Roberts – based in Los Angeles – for a series of illustrated social posts that focused on the misconceptions surrounding sexual assault. In the post #MeToo world, victim blaming and consent were issues that started deeper conversations about the topic. We wanted to address these issues in a way that both informed and ignited change.
