LREI Big Auction 2017
Client brief: to create a visual identity system, inspired by the iconic “I Love NY” logo, for materials advertising the Big Auction 2017, LREI’s biennial community fundraiser. Trying to avoid the “heart = love” cliché, I created a system of thirteen icons based on activities or subjects on which the school focuses. The identity revolves around these icons and the custom letters used in the logo, which playfully rotate and jumble within a rigid grid. Under direction of Thackway McCord.
