Dimensional Type Field Trip: Reykjavik

Dimensional type takes a field trip to Iceland. I arranged ice lettering all over Reykjavik and the southern Golden Circle, panning up slowly to reveal the surrounding environment. The project was a fascinating study in geographical variables: soil, light, topography. Originally intended as an announcement for the trip to Iceland's capital, the salt lettering proved sturdy enough to withstand packing and bumbling around in a carry-on.

Aside from building and growing the lettering, I planned, shot, cut, audio mixed, and arranged the video from start to finish in the course of six days. Shot on Front Row and iPhone 8s.
