Engagement with emails (measured by open rates and click through rates) was low, so I began two campaigns to solve the issue: a persona-based segmentation campaign to ensure everyone was seeing relevant content, then a re-engagement campaign to win back inactive people.
Over a few months, open rates increased from 7-9% to over 40%, well above the industry standard for B2B PaaS companies.
