KLM Care-E Robot

With a scan of a boarding pass, Care-E, a self-driving luggage trolley, will guide KLM passengers from airport security to their gate. Care-E can seamlessly wander through crowded airport hallways using sensor technology and knows to redirect routes when gate changes and cancellations happen. Care-E’s emotive, non-verbal sounds and faces make this robot not only a helpful experience but also an emotional personal interaction. I was responsible for leading the electrical design and all software development. Designed and engineered with KLM, 10xBeta, and BBDO.
