The Great Ritz Holiday Parade

To remind people that Ritz was “Open for Fun” during the holidays, we created The Great Ritz Holiday Parade—the world’s first ever fully digital parade.

It all started with a TV spot launched in the middle of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast that mimicked the actual parade footage. When the broadcast went to commercial, viewers were surprised to see it return in animated form with quirky Ritz floats marching along a Ritzified 6th Ave.- cheesy parade commentary and all.

But the parade didn’t stop there. It continued marching across the web in the form of digital banners appearing on different websites every day throughout the holidays. The banners drove people to ritzparade.com, where they could build their own parade floats to be featured in our banners, score fun Ritz recipes, and win exclusive holiday deals and giveaways.
