I was the creative lead on this project and wrote much of the dialogue. The client wanted to warn the world of the danger of picking the wrong taco shells. We came up with Blu, a sadomasochistic piñata. He wants you to hit him and hit him hard. Your reward for compliance? All that taco goodness that’s up in him. Television introduced Blu and his need for pain. Social video content highlighted Blu taking his dark desires to even greater heights. We also created an interactive website chock full of Blu’s attitudinal quips and kernels of wisdom.
