Fighting With a Purpose

Role: Creative Director / Copywriter THIS INTERACTIVE PROJECT REQUIRED THE CREATION OF A DEDICATED SECTION WITHIN THE MARINE CORPS WEBSITE, AIMED AT ENCOURAGING MORE WOMEN AND MINORITIES TO JOIN AS OFFICERS. THE EFFORT WAS PART OF THE 'FIGHTING WITH A PURPOSE' MESSAGE, WHICH IS INTENDED TO REINFORCE THE BROADER NOTION OF SERVICE — HELPING OTHERS WHO ARE IN NEED WHETHER AT A HOME COMMUNITY OR ABROAD - A MESSAGE WE FOUND TO RESONATE BETTER WITH THE DIVERSITY PROSPECT AUDIENCE. THROUGH PERSONAL STORYTELLING, WE FOLLOW THE LIVES OF SOME MINORITY OFFICERS, AND THOSE WHOM THEY HAVE TOUCHED, TO SHOW THE IMPACT THEY HAVE ON A LOCAL AND GLOBAL SCALE. THE CAMPAIGN ALSO INCLUDED PRINT, DIGITAL AND MOBILE EFFORTS.
