Having acquired the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City New Jersey in early 2017, Vegas-based MGM was now able to launch it's digital gambling apps within the state. A market already saturated with uncouth, cartoon-ish, and tacky models such as Golden Nugget, Bet Fair, we chose to capitalize on MGM's higher-stakes, higher-class Vegas heritage. With an embittered legal defeat rendering "Viva Las Jersey" unusable we pivoted to "Vegas is Here" and offered gamers something more than just real cash prices: real Vegas heritage and thrill. The campaign came to life through an aggressive online media buy, a large scale OOH media buy, and a slick commercial encapsulating all the hair raising, heart pounding, breath-taking flare of Vegas Casinos.
