Art Direction. Branding. Logo Design and Packaging. VONU, which means good/tasty in Sardinian dialect, produces organic and handmade teas. Sardinian raw honey is the main ingredient used, but each of the four variations has a unique recipe to create a distinctive flavour. Original and imbued with meanings, Sardinian clothes and jewels are a fusion of signs left by the succession of different cultures in Sardinia: Phoenician, Greek, Byzantine and Spanish. I feel in love with elegant black shawls, an element of the traditional Sardinian costume, made of light Tibet wool and embroidered with vibrant silk flowers. The unique flower shapes inspired me. Moreover, in the past, those shawls were used to tell stories about the social background, marital status, distinguish the rich from the poor and used as a prestigious garment. Following the idea of prestigious, I created an identity inspired by the black Sardinian shawls. I started to re-draw the flowers from their original look until I minimised them to give a feeling of flowers through colours and unique shapes.
