Art Direction. App concept and identity design. Re.Hack: An intense 48h Hackathon that brings the big guns from digital and tech, developers and designers from top agencies and Unilever e-commerce divisions from all around the globe together to tackle one brief: make e-commerce a force of good by making it more sustainable. I created and designed the app in 2015 and won second place/honourable mention out of many incredible talents! Check it out @ Rehack. Strategist Lara James and I participated as a team and won Honourable Mention, 2nd place! In 2018 I decided to revisit its design in a more contemporary approach. ‘Yes! Chef’ it’s designed to help people plan their weekly shopping through recipes. Their food preferences, including allergies, special diets, and budget, can be added to their profile set up through a ‘preferences page.’ ‘Yes! Chef’ will then filter the perfect recipes matching customers requests. The app will also suggest seasonal recipes, a limited amount of meat-based recipes and local supermarkets. We tent to think that respect the environment implies enormous sacrifices, but it’s all about making a few twists to our daily habits to make a difference. Concept: The app target focuses on 20-45 yrs old citizens with busy schedules but interested in making the most of their free time, be more sociable as well as taking care of themselves in a more conscious way. ‘Yes! Chef’ has a fun and colourful style to make an enjoyable UX and UI experience. The bright patterns and backgrounds can be personalised and change daily, all to make it more fun and appealing. Navigation is easy, quick and intuitive. Choose your recipes, buy the exact ingredients proportionally to the number of people you want to cook it for, pick up or get your grocery delivered, shop from usual, watch the video instructions and prepare the perfect meal.
