During recent hearings for a Supreme Court Judge nominee, the Senate committee had no idea what any slang terms meant, even though they were relevant and important for an informed decision. TIME FOR SKOOL. This is a prototype for an iOS app in the works. It’s a word-of-the-day app, using slang of course. The intent is to expose and define the specific terms used during those hearings. But ultimately surface up slang words that refer to powerful women and minorities. People can share these words on their social feed as well as send them directly to their senators with a personalized message. They can also donate directly from the app to defenders of the truth, the ACLU.
