Buddish is a deck of cards made up of philosophies, tools, and perspectives influenced by Buddhist traditions. Its contents are Buddish. After discovering Buddhism, Lauren Zettler was inspired to share how its ideologies can change one's point of view. Through Buddish, Lauren is making an ancient belief system accessible, enjoyable, and relevant. Led by Lauren’s Buddhist knowledge and creative vision, I assisted with research and developed the Buddish name, product tone of voice, and written material: writing and editing content for the fifty-two card deck, marketing materials, and supporting materials like an illustrated how-to guide. Bringing scripture into the postinformation age, the brand voice balances the profundity of ancient teachings with the absurdity of how we experience and navigate life today. With a card for every week of the year, Buddish is for anyone looking for a fresh perspective that has stood the test of time. Through a simple, conscious, tactile exercise this artful deck promote self- and collective-improvement— zen—for the modern world.
