IBM was launching the new CIO program under the “What ‘I’ Can Disrupt” concept. This concept revolves around the idea that the CIO role is being radically reimagined, and in order to win in today’s industry one must reshape IT and architect for disruption, take the initiative, and ignite innovation. We created 3 graphic novels, and each showcases a different CIO with a unique set of superpowers and tools to use to their advantage. I was the creative lead for this project. Teamed up with a writer, illustrator, digital producer and account services, I was responsible of ideating and supervising the script writting and visualization, as well as presenting concepts to IBM in a work session style. Working this close with client proved to be beneficial as we all became a team and it was not about presenting ideas but contributing as a team to move forward. This allowed the creative team to work enthusiastically, be better heard, and for the client, to feel part of the creative process.
