Hearst | Digital Newfronts
We partnered with Hearst Magazines Digital Media to plan, develop and execute their 2017 Digital Newfronts at Skylight Modern in New York City.
Designed to showcase the media company’s upcoming digital programming across the pillars of food, fashion, beauty, and men’s lifestyle, the event featured a series of visually immersive vignettes and interactive moments that brought each brand pillar to life. To support the surprises planned by Hearst executives in their keynote speeches and programming reveals, a custom stage with projected screens was strategically designed within the space for maximum audience engagement and immersion.
- Large-format screens set within graphic-covered wall flats showcased a series of recipe tutorials that prompted viewers to open a drawer and sample the finished culinary treat in real time
- To promote the beauty vertical, a custom tunnel of evocative still images and video content was created to fully immerse guests, often surprising them along the way as certain photographs turned into moving images
- A virtual bartender from Esquire’s digital content platform showcased a whisky cocktail while a live mixologist offered the beverage to guests
