WeatherOptics App and Camp Portal

WeatherOptics is a meteorological data analytics and private sector forecasting company that takes raw weather data and translates it into valuable insight for businesses across the United States. The company offers a consumer weather app with several thousand users that competes with major weather apps by offering qualitative insights into local weather instead of just throwing numbers at a display. It also offers a swath of client portals targeted at industries like camps, emergency management services, and schools, which provide personalized forecasting from, and interaction with, meteorologists, as well as automated qualitative insights into weather patterns that may impact a client's operations.

My role here has been to manage the development of the API, native apps on both mobile platforms, and the client portals which all use the same API. I've also been in charge of engineering project management and frequently contribute on product decisions, especially in terms of translating business requirements into realistically achievable engineering goals.
