This campaign was inspired by an idea I had about doing 'it' for the first time. The fun and deceiving concept used play on words and sexual innuendos to describe people's 'first time' experiences, while revealing at the end that the 'first time' actually meant running a Tough Mudder. I led in the concept, design & animation of the iphone convo for all email comms and paid ads. DESIGN APPROACH: I thought the best way to build out the idea was to use an iPhone UI conversation. It was a way to tell a story and spark interest from a realistic point of view, but to also subtly market the promotion going on. AWARD: 1st Prize Winner | The Best Email Design Hunt 2017 Contest Won 1st prize, out of over 200 global entries, for conveying Tough Mudder's brand with creative brilliance and originality through a unique promotional concept. The contest was organized by EmailMonks and was in partnership with Email on Acid, Campaign Monitor, Emma, and Really Good Emails.
