JAM HANDS

Framed as an ethnographic survey, Jam Hands is a collection of pages culled from assorted library books found in the Providence Athenaeum. Each entry betrays some evidence of human interaction and is paired with a description detailing the potential origin for each example of detritus. Jam Hands is designed to illuminate the invisible communal connections of the typical lending library system. Winner of Judge's Choice Award in the New York State of Design 2017 show.
