Framed as an ethnographic survey, Jam Hands is a collection of pages culled from assorted library books found in the Providence Athenaeum. Each entry betrays some evidence of human interaction and is paired with a description detailing the potential origin for each example of detritus. Jam Hands is designed to illuminate the invisible communal connections of the typical lending library system.
