ACCORDION HERO

AccordionHERO is an adaptation of the video game GuitarHERO that invites to follow the rhythm of a song by means of a musical instrument. The project used the Vallenato and the Accordion, a traditional rhythm and instrument of the Colombian Caribbean to promote folklore around the country. AccordionHERO used Wiring, Arduino and Processing technologies to give life to the re-creation of this famous game in 4 cities of the country (Rionegro, Santa Marta, Valledupar and Barranquilla) in the framework of the Carnival of Barranquilla 2015 (The second biggest festival in Latinoamerica).
