Large global client in desperate need to upgrade its alumni directory and job search platform. Main goal was to carry over existing features to a style that matched the rest of the company while creating a solid modern tech and UI base from which new features could be added. The company's brand guidelines were rooted in static digital visuals (such as articles or blogs) and not made for interaction. This meant that as we progressed in the translation and re-thinking of the UX we repeatedly ran into blockers that required inventing a UI element or user flow that fit within existing guidelines.
As a global client with employee users across nearly every demographic, frequent testing, user interviews, and accessibility checks were challenging but critical.
