A project I had the chance to work on while studying abroad in Copenhagen was to rebrand Siciliansk Is, a local Sicilian gelato shop in Copenhagen that had three locations in the city. My task was to create a cohesive brand that can be used to tie together the three shops, as well as create materials that can be effective for local Danes and tourists alike. Inspired by Sicilian patterns, a retro, neon sign poster in one of the shops, and Danish minimalism, my final identity was implemented into a menu (which I made double-sided with the English and Danish translations), business cards, stamp cards, voucher gift cards, coffee cups, gelato cups, and a take-home pint-sized gelato box. I also transformed the logomark into a neon sign, which I placed onto a rendered awning above the entrance of one of the locations, that I imagined to work with all the locations—especially as a way to draw in customers after dusk.
