The Kit Kat Chunky brand was losing significant share to the “big eat” bars. It had slipped to #17 in the Canadian confectionary market and was on the verge of being de-listed by Walmart and other top retailers. The Big Hit campaign quickly vaulted the bar up to #10 and made the Kit Kat Chunky a big hit once again with its key target – hungry teen boys.
