Working with Ogilvy and Pet Gorilla, I was hired as part of an overall data visualization campaign for IBM and the US Open. IBM uses data to drive the US Open and we were tasked with bringing this data to life using a modern web experience. I designed and illustrated over 30 trivia tiles engineered to shed light on the history and experiences of the US Open. I also helped guide the color schemes used in the animated statistics. The result was a dynamic, real time website that tracked all the data happening in the tournament through animated HTML 5 statistics, trivia tiles and cinemagraphs with a custom CMS allowing IBM to upload graphics in real time.
