Black Birch Vineyard Fundraiser

Services: Illustration, Custom Logo Design, Typography, Print Design Located in Hatfield, Massachusetts, Black Birch Vineyard (BBV) is a family owned and run winery that prides itself on craftsmanship and community. Every year they host events and fundraisers bringing people together to enjoy food, music, wine, and company, often times to benefit a cause. At the time, BBV's brand was in transition from being laid-back, approachable, and fun to sophisticated and formal. Our task was to create a poster* for their upcoming fundraiser to benefit the Alzheimer's Foundation that straddled the two identities. I presented two options, one direction that leaned more on the friendly, approachable energy while injecting a level of elegance and another that elevated the fundraiser to work as a series with the help of a logo mark. *Directions not chosen by the client Work done at Brigade.
