Our client, Just-A-Start, is a housing development organization celebrating its 50th year. To increase their brand recognition and bring their community together, we're designing a year's worth of community engagement. Our first event was a community dinner called A Taste of Home. We gathered recipes from the JAS community, then had a professional chef recreate the meals at a catered event that brought everyone from board members to residents together for an evening of celebration. Utilizing their brand badge, I created a secondary design system utilizing their palette to add color, shapes, and tie the event together visually. I designed and produced a cookbook, all printed material, as well as large graphics utilizing images from their 1968 photo archive.
