Public! Notice! was a collaborative project and event that aimed to promote socially aware design and discussions of sustainability in Edinburgh. For one week, a group of graphic design students came together to form Weapons of Mass Communication, an 100+ strong design agency. They used visual communication to try and highlight a certain topic of sustainability (food waste, fast fashion, excessive consumption to name a few) and took their designs onto the streets of Edinburgh. This work was documented and collated, and shown in an exhibition at Edinburgh College of Art. With a core group of students, I was part of the organisation and running of Public! Notice!, and for the week long project I ran the social media for our accounts. I documented my experience in a publication, which can be see below, and follow the web link to see our social media links which has all the content from the project.
