Sky Lounge

Sky Lounge is an installation collaboration with a colleague Kate Jang (RISD ID15 & GD16). The idea was to create a space where Brown students could come relax in the Science Library (SCILI). Brown can be a stressful environment and in recent year a student took his own life at a library during exam time. Therefore a safe space is needed within these bland concrete walls. We decided to bring the sky inside a nook in the facade of the building with a simple installation. We recreated the installation indoors with an additional book that documented the initial process.
