Botequim (The Tavern) - Theater Play

Characters who seek shelter during a big storm and who will end up in a bar where they drink while revealing their personal dramas. The play "The Tavern", by Gianfrancesco Guarnieri, had its only adaptation in 2013, after its first editing in 1973. Right in the difficult years of Brazilian history, "The Tavern" was played for the first time in the midst of a dictatorship and was a metaphor for the repression and limits imposed by censorship and political persecution.
