Oceans7 "Paipo" Inflatable Bodyboard Collection

I initiated this project in 2013 for the 2014 summer season. Inflatable surf mats and paipo boards (ancient Hawaiian proto-surfboards) were the inspiration behind this unique collection of prone surfriding equipment. The construction and design of these items was the culmination of 6 months of research and development by me, and the graphic elements were added by my good pal David Moccia. Peter Santaw, the VP of Product Development at the time allowed me to push the envelope on this project, and if it weren't for him, this project never would have happened. This collection placed Gold in the Sports/Toys/Games category of the 2014 International Design Awards. It was then sold on Amazon.com and in select Walmart stores.
