The concept for the calendar was to fragment or distort any image used in order to explore the various ways a photo can be decomposed. This photo decomposition study served to juxtapose the traditional idea of a calendar; usually showing picturesque views with everyday boring calendar typography. I chose to focus on mountain imagery to maintain a natural photography style and color palette, yet challenge myself further to make these images anything but boring.
