PROBLEM: A San Francisco based independent online spice retailer recently changed the company name from Indochine Spice to San Francisco Spice Company. Visitors to the website do not readily understand that the company has partnered with an NGO to ethically and sustainably source their spices, which is an important competitive differentiator. SOLUTION: San Francisco Spice Company was rebranded with a new image and name. An intuitive and responsive website based on human centric needs was designed. The website now includes background information regarding the partnership with the NGO, and the ability to make an online donation.
