Furdunço

The Furdunço program seeks to enhance the culture of Paraíba, bringing to the viewer the cultural scene of our state. Its subjects ranges from music, gastronomy, the fine arts and literature and always seeks to portray artists and local personalities. We wanted to represent the variety of subjects of the program, its cultural character and, mainly, its regionalism and contemporaneity. Thus, we assumed as a concept for the elaboration of all the pieces, the word "furdunço" as synonymous with "mess", as commonly used by the northeasterners. For the creation of the logo and the vignette, we searched for inspiration in the traditional woodcut of cordel and its flaws, simplicity and geometric traits. We brought contemporaneity through the strong and limited palette and deconstructed characters and its frantic movements.
