The Objective: Build a new digital experience for the luxury footwear designer on a platform that would allow the brand to easily step into e-commerce.
I led a discovery phase with a digital strategist to select the most appropriate platforms, backend, fulfillment, customer care, and marketing support components. Keeping in mind the latest e-commerce standards and the brand’s internal capabilities, I initiated and managed both the UX and wireframing documentation, then progressed into complete site design and overall digital creative direction. I hired and managed a team of digital freelancers (copywriter, developer, and production artist) to help build and deliver the final product, a fully functional website. I then completed the project by creating a brand guide, including copy formulas for product descriptions and SEO, creative briefs for future photography, and templates for site updates and email campaigns.
The result is a fully responsive site built on the Shopify platform giving the brand a manageable stepping stone to e-commerce. The site is designed to be modular and scalable allowing the new footwear brand to grow in multiple verticals across its category.
