Nike - Earl & Tiger

This was the first Nike spot for Tiger Woods after his personal life blew up ahead of the 2010 Masters. We spent 3 weeks editing a completely different spot that kept getting killed by the client. It was the Friday of the tournament and we had run out of time. Hal Curtis walked into my bay and asked if I had anything with Earl Woods talking about parenting. I pulled up this quote from a DVD outtake interview and we put the spot together in roughly 15 minutes. I fought for the film roll-out. 10 billion views ensued. Sometimes it's that simple.
