Shortly after joining Translation, I got my first classic-new-junior-art-director brief to come up with a few Instagram posts for a hospital. The ask was pretty straight-forward: write a post and find a stock image that promotes healthy activities to young, Californian women. But, being the eager new art director I was, I tried to turn it into an opportunity and stayed late to give ‘em hand-drawn animated .gifs.
