Sonic Garden at Sonos Studios
To showcase the Sonos Play:1 speaker, sound artist Mileece turned Sonos Studio into a living ecology that powered an interactive soundscape. Visitors were invited to turn plants into instruments: touching different pieces of foliage resulted in a range of sonic responses. During the exhibition opening, Mileece and members of the LA Chamber Orchestra performed a new, original piece composed for the occasion. As Executive Producer, I oversaw the project scope, budget, artist engagement and contracting, exhibition development, event programming, and production.
