Intuit / GoldieBlox - Super Bowl
The cost to create and run an ad on the Super Bowl is outrageous. At $4 million a pop, there’s no chance for any small business to get a piece of that filthy-nasty media action. This year, we changed that. Intuit wanted to show the world that they’re the undisputed champions of Small Business, so we helped them run a contest where one lucky local business could win an all expenses paid commercial on the Big Game. Over 15,000 businesses submitted their stories and 4 finalists were put to a public vote. When the dust settled, GoldieBlox, a small start-up from the Bay area had taken the lead by a mile. Here’s how it all went down.
