Microsoft needed to introduce Windows 8 to New Yorkers so we set up a demo using the thing they love most: New York. A 200-foot long model of NYC, dubbed Microtropolis, was host to hundreds of PCs all with NYC-centric content loaded on them, curated by NYC notables. A programming series brought New Yorkers of all kinds into the installation and definitely caused them to re-think everything they thought about Windows. I was lead producer on the project, overseeing a team of four line producers and five production partners.
