Our goal was to contextualize a problem that affects over 663 million people, but is unfamiliar in America: dirty water. In partnership with Buzzfeed’s Tasty and charity: water, we were able to do just that.
Buzzfeed’s Tasty videos have revolutionized the way Americans consume recipes.We leveraged Tasty's format to create modern-sounding recipes that included ingredients that are actually found in dirty water - things like leeches, mosquitoes and bacteria.
We blindly seeded and shared the videos via Buzzfeed's Facebook page, catching millions of viewers off guard when they discovered these weren't your average Tasty videos.
