NHS Leicester Sexual Health Re-Brand and Web-design
NHS Leicester Sexual Health’s aim was to grow brand awareness, be instantly recognizable and improve online facilities. They needed their brand it to appeal to every age, gender and sexuality but 75% of their clients are under 35. Their website needed to be an easy to use, trusted and respected resource.
I used a combination of the clean and crisp font Avenir, bold geometric linked shapes, bright popping neon colours and minimal illustrations to create slick, modern, confident brand identity. The logo is made up of linking shapes that can change in colour, shape and direction. The shapes are also used as a visual device to highlight information throughout the branded material. The design was conceived to create a sense of confidence in it's simple clean design and the bright pop of colour creates a fresh, modern accessible tone.
It has a freshness and hint of playfulness that appeals to a broad demographic whilst having a youthful touch. The website is now easy to use and trust inspiring.
