Ocean of Images: New Photography 2015

The exhibition Ocean of Images brought together the work of 19 contemporary photographers. Their practices explore a post-internet and photo-based culture, while specifically focusing on connectivity, the circulation of images, and information networks. Mirroring the ever-evolving path of an image, the offset rhythmic lines evoke multiplicity and temporality— their energy suggesting movement beyond the confines of the wall. Echoing concepts represented in the show, the ‘RGB’ blue paint and white browser-like windows reference both physical and digital space. Awarded Typographic Excellence, Type Director’s Club (2016) Designed at the Museum of Modern Art Creative Direction: Ingrid Chou; Art Direction & Design: Danielle Hall; Production: Claire Corey; Paintmask: Paulette Giguere; Silkscreen: Tom Black
