No Kid Hungry

BBH was one of 10 agencies invited to Facebook’s latest Hackathon to help them solve some of their biggest challenges in getting the most out Ad Stories and the broader Instagram ecosystem for digital web campaigns. No Kid Hungry is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to ending child hunger in America, and our campaign was focused around helping to drive donations. I was tasked with helping to come up with strategic, digital solutions and UI designs that bolster mobile donations driven by a broader ad campaign. The idea was to utilize Instagram’s built-in web browser from Ad and Organic Stories to create a seamless, gamified donation experience. Featuring delightful animations, users would drag-and-drop Emojis onto a plate to build an Emoji Meal. The more Emojis they added to the plate, the higher the donations got and the more playful the animations became. Users are also presented with an option to donate any customized specific amount. It was a fantastic opportunity to not only help come up with creative solutions to utilize existing platforms, but more importantly, run an altruistic campaign that does some tangible good for the world.
