The Rest Test Project
Created at LUST with Viola Bernacchi, designed in collaboration with BBC Radio 4's Claudia Hammond. Hubbub conducted a survey on how people rest for the Rest Test Project. Given thousands of responses and the concept to create benches, we categorized the information into several categories that represent the genre of the answers. These categories included language referring to: Inactivity, hobbies, time, relaxation, and emotion.
Using the inspiration of weaving and tree diagrams, we visualized the answers on a set of benches. I worked in visual structure and concepting phases on how this data should be displayed, communicated, and orgaized. Early concept sketches of mine are shown below the photographs on this page.
