Wagamama: brand development

Over a period of two years I was heavily immersed in the design and art direction of multiple campaigns that helped to evolve Wagamama as a brand, both creatively and strategically. This involved the design and art direction of their first out of home advertising, their new menu, overseeing the creation of the new brand guidelines, and multiple in-store ‘placemat’ campaigns - that Wagamama has become well known for. My role included involvement from start to finish on the majority of these projects - from helping to create initial ideas, finding photographers and art directing photoshoots, to liaising with retouchers in post-production, working up final layouts with great attention to detail across the typography and imagery created for each of the projects.
